| Invalid E-mail Address
You must provide a valid email address to order magazines from our magazine sites. If you cannot provide a deliverable email address, or if you prefer not to, you may not be able to order from some sites. Check with the company to find out whether or not an email address is required.
Change of Address
A Change of Address service is provided by some magazine websites linked through us, however some sites require the information to go through their clearing house first. This can take as long as 12 weeks. We recommend that you contact the publisher directly and request that the change be made while you are on the telephone. Otherwise, double check with the company you ordered your subscriptions from.
Change of Address Before Your First Issue Arrives
If you have not received your first issue which contains the publisher's address or 800 number by the time you move you should try to obtain its 800 number from 800 information. In the event that you can not contact the publisher before your first issue arrives, you should notify the Post Office of your new address by completing a Change of Address Form indicating that you want your magazines forwarded to your new address. Once you receive your first issue which has been forwarded to you by the Post Office you should follow the directions above. Hint: you can also find the publisher's information by checking out a copy on the newsstand.
United States Post Office Change of Address Service
Before you move, you should fill out the automated Change of Address form of the USPS at www.usps.com/moversnet/coa.html - your magazines will be forwarded for 60 days. You should also ask your mailman if he will be forwarding your magazines - if he declines, you can write a letter addressed to: Postmaster, Your City, Your Zip Code.
Switching Magazines
Once your subscription has been submitted to the publisher, most likely it cannot be changed to another magazine. If the publisher has already been paid, you may not be able to cancel your subscription. Be certain that you want the magazine before processing your order. If you wish to discontinue receiving the magazine, you can give the subscription to someone else. Most publishers will permit you to change the person the subscription is sent to - to do this contact the publisher directly from the information published in the magazine.
Cancellations and Refunds
Subscriptions that have not yet been submitted to the publisher can most likely be cancelled. However you may not receive a full or partial refund from the magazine reseller company. Check the company's website to see if they will issue you a refund for cancelled orders. Please order carefully in order to avoid any unnecessary charges. If you decide not to cancel and do not have anyone else in mind to transfer your subscription to, you should consider transferring the subscription to a waiting room of your local hospital's emergency room where there will be many appreciative readers. In order to do this simply call the publisher and request a change of address and recipient.
Credit Card Disputes
In most cases, there is no need to file a credit card dispute when dealing with our magazine companies. Our terms of fulfillment are that you should receive your first issue from 8 to 18 weeks from the date of your order depending on the publisher. Some publishers are fast and some are slower in starting a new subscription. Average is about 12 weeks. If you have not received your subscription by the end of the 18th week, you can request a refund without the necessity of making a dispute.
IF YOU FILE A DISPUTE for the charges on your order, the company is charged up to$10 for an information retrieval letter and $15 for each dispute letter even if they prove that we are entitled to the charge. Furthermore since they do not have a hand signed voucher it is impossible for them to refute the dispute.
Generally, you have 60 days to file a dispute with your credit card company so there is no need to do this immediately. If the problem with your order entitles you to a refund, it will usally be made within five days after being approved.
If there is a problem with your order, please contact the company's Customer Service Manager to discuss the matter. Making a dispute with your credit card company before contacting customer service and providing them with the opportunity to resolve the issue is unfair - please avoid making a dispute before contacting the comapny.
