When will my order arrive?
Subscriptions: It is still the industry standard that publishers' cycle new subscriptions in to the delivery schedule on a delayed basis. Each publisher has their own calendar, but in general: Weekly magazines require 4 to 7 weeks, monthly magazines may require 7 to 9 weeks, and bi-monthlies may take 12 weeks. These lag times are standard for most publishers.
How are the magazines packaged for shipping?
Subscriptions are delivered by the publishers and each has their own packaging style.
Do you ship to international/military addresses or correctional facilities?
Unfortunately we cannot process orders destined for international and military addresses or correctional facilities. If you subscribe for magazines destined for any of these, we will be unable to guarantee that the magazines will be delivered to the recipient.
Why am I missing issues?
This may be the result of a glitch in the publisher's computer system or a postal delivery problem. You will need to contact the publisher or your local post office and have them do a postal watch to determine where your magazine(s) are being delivered. The publisher's toll free number can usually be found in the masthead of the magazine.
Why am I receiving duplicate issues?
If you are receiving duplicate issues it may be because you ordered the magazine twice or that your renewal was processed as a new subscription. To rectify this situation, you should contact the publisher and request that the two subscriptions be combined into one. Also request credit for the duplicate(s) you have received.
What do I do about these notices that magazines keep sending me?
Collection notices are not sent by the companies you ordered from, but the publisher. You will need to contact the publisher directly. Try searching for their contact info at Publist.com.
Can I renew my old subscriptions through the site I ordered from?
Most magazine companies allow you to renew a subscription through their website, but make sure you double check with them first.
Do you automatically renew my magazines?
Most places will not automatically renew subscriptions. Your credit card information is not given to the publisher so they can not charge your credit card for a renewal even if they wanted to. Some publishers will send a "renewal invoice" once your subscription expires. If you do not wish to renew, simply ignore it or write "do not renew" on the invoice and mail it back to the publisher.
Is it safe giving you my credit card number over the net?
Websites that use SSL encryption technology prevent the intentional or accidental interception of sensitive information as it is transmitted across the net.
How can I pay for my subscriptions?
Most places accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal.
Why was my credit card charged before my subscription started?
Your credit card is charged at the time you order by an automated process from the server. This is standard practice in the magazine subscription industry.
Should I "dispute" charges if I think they are incorrect?
Magazine companies rarely ever refuse to make an adjustment for an incorrect charge or a subscription that may have gotten lost in the process. When you dispute a charge, it costs YOU $20 - $25 in service charges even if you rescind the dispute. Please contact the company first and give them an opportunity to resolve your issue.
How do I update my information if I change my address?
In this situation, your best bet is to first notify the publisher of your address change by calling the number listed (usually near the Table of Contents) or visiting the magazine's website if the website has a Customer Service section.
What if I want to cancel an order?
Contact customer care with your request within 48 hours of ordering. After your order is sent to the publisher, there are no refunds, but we will do everything we can to address problems you are having with a subscription. When possible we will try to replace the subscription with a different magazine.
